How would you fancy a padel holiday with friends or family to the Algarve — hosted by GB men’s no.2 Louie Harris?
That’s the tantalising offer from UK-based sports travel operator Active Away, who have announced British champion Harris as their new Padel Ambassador and simultaneously launched the Louie Harris Padel Programme.
Co-designed by the man himself, the Louie Harris Padel Programme combines expert coaching, structured gameplay and the Active Away Cup.
Aimed at those playing at intermediate level and above, the programme will help players understand their options, choose the right shot and use new skills when points become competitive.
Harris’s programme will run across every Active Away padel holiday — and on two selected trips to Hyatt Regency Vilamoura Algarve in 2027, the Welshman will be there in person to coach, share elite-level match insights and join the experience.
From 18-21 March and 15-18 April 2027, Harris will lead a dedicated coaching team delivering his own programme for a maximum of 16 players. The hotel stay and airport transfers are included, with meals, drinks and social activities all arranged.
Hyatt Regancy Vilamoura Algarve is Active Away’s first bespoke padel holiday destination, situated just yards from Vilamoura’s award-winning marina and beach.
The club will host clinics, corporate and promotional events and serve local clients, but primarily it will become Active Away’s flagship padel holiday destination.
Harris, the world no.250 who starred in last week’s London Premier Padel P1, said: “Active Away run the best padel holidays out there. I’m so excited to get out on the trips this year and deliver some unforgettable experiences.”
