Advantage Padel are set to open their doors to a new flagship venue in Mudeford, Dorset, combining padel and pickleball courts into one cutting-edge facility.

Opening in early 2026, the venue will be home to eight indoor padel courts – including two championship-grade courts for national-level competitions. There will also be five pickleball courts, a fully equipped gym, a café and bar area and a space to work from home.

With venues already open in Nottingham and Kingsley in Hampshire, the new Mudeford facility will be the first time Advantage Padel have combined padel and pickleball, two of the UK’s most rapidly growing sports.

The new Advantage Padel facility will give padel and pickleball players in the small seaside town even more top-class facilities to engage with. In January, the PicklePad opened in Mudeford and became the UK’s first combined indoor padel and pickleball centre. It has since built a thriving community.

Speaking on the inclusion of pickleball and padel at Advantage, Operational Lead Sarah Langford told The Padel Paper: “We wanted to be involved in the growth of both sports. It is a really exciting time to be in that area and to potentially be at the forefront of venues that host both. We want to be the best at what we do, so why not have the best facility in the country?

“Two of our padel courts and one pickleball court will be able to host top-level competition due to the space around them, making them great for spectating. We could have easily put more padel courts in and just catered purely to the one sport, but pickleball is really popular in the New Forest, so we would like to house both communities and bring racket sports together. That is really exciting.”

The success of the Kingsley facility, the first to open under the Advantage Padel brand, has been aided by the formation of padel leagues for regular players. Although something that was not initially offered, Langford believes that Advantage Padel are quick to react to player feedback.

Director of Advantage Padel Olly Burry said: “At Kingsley, we have a veterans’ league, which is something that we didn’t start with, however there was high demand, so we were happy to put it on. It is our commitment to make sure that our community of players have something that they want to do, we are happy to add things on in order to accommodate everybody.

“We just want the future of the sport to be bright. If we find that there is a particularly strong ladies’ off-peak demand, let’s say, we will put it on. The beauty of this business is that it is relatively small, there is no bureaucracy. If somebody wants something and we have the resources to do it, we can put it on the next day.”

Advantage Padel have founding memberships available for those that wish to be a part of the Mudeford facility, including a Gold membership that combines padel and pickleball.
