Welcome to The Padel Paper‘s live coverage from Madrid, where Great Britain’s men’s and women’s teams are playing their critical final group matches this morning (Sunday), bidding to earn qualification to The Final 8 later this year.
All matches start at 9am BST, with our women facing a winner-takes-all showdown with Sweden in their final tie in Group A. Whoever wins, goes through to the Final 8 (where big guns Spain, Italy, France and Portugal await).
GB men, meanwhile, have virtually already sealed their place in the Final 8. They need only to win a single tie against Group C bottom side Monaco to get over the line.
