Great Britain’s best young padel players are ready to test themselves against the cream of Europe at the FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup in Porto this weekend.

Starting on Saturday (27 June), GB’s boys’ and girls’ teams will enter the event in the qualification stage which lasts three days and is structured in groups. Read the full event guide here.

Qualification stage (27-29 June)

In the boys’ qualification competition there are two groups of four and two groups of five. In the girls’, there is one group of three and three groups of four.

GB will discover their qualification stage opponents in the draw which takes place on Friday night at the competition venue, Padel Athletic Club in Porto.

Each group match in the qualification stage consists of three ties; one each for pairs in U14, U16 and U18 age categories.

As they are making their debuts in the competition (having opted not to enter previous editions in Valencia in 2022 and Budapest in 2024), both GB teams are in the bottom group of seeds.

Only the top team in each of the four groups progresses to the Final 8 stage, which runs from 30 June – 4 July.
