As Premier Padel’s opening bow in London came to a close, there was no doubt that the ground-breaking event had written itself into the history books of UK padel.
The pairings of Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia, and Claudia Fernandez and Martina Calvo, were crowned winners of the men’s and women’s events respectively, with Premier Padel London bringing an atmosphere and quality of play previously unseen by the country’s padel community.
The tournament’s 20,000-strong crowd provided the fervour to accompany P1-level competition on the professional tour, cheering on homegrown talents Louie Harris and Aimee Gibson whilst also supporting established names like Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron.

And, MejorSet’s work didn’t just stop when the competition kicked off. A team of technicians remained on-site for the duration of the event, checking the court in-between matches – as well as at the conclusion of each day’s play – to ensure that court quality was maintained at the required standard.
