Belfast city centre’s first padel venue is expected to open in the first half of 2026 and feature a retractable roof.
The new club, to be operated by Let’s Go Padel, will have two doubles courts and two singles courts with eaves between six and eight metres high. (Watch a video on our Instagram account).
The club’s prime location and retractable roof are set to make it a standout feature of the fast-growing padel scene in Northern Ireland (as we reported last month).
Pete Boyle , CEO of Let’s Go Padel, told us: “We can’t wait to open Belfast’s first padel court right in the city centre. It is the first retractable-roof court in the country.
“We want people to grab a racket, step out of work or uni, and play a game without even thinking about the weather. At the end of the day, we’re trying to build a proper community here, somewhere people want to play.”
Let’s Go Padel, which already has five venues across the country, are on track to open several more large clubs in Derry/Londonderry, Lurgan and East Belfast before the central Belfast project is completed.
