Social Sports Society’s flagship padel club in the shadow of Wembley Stadium has closed its doors and the operator has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators.
The Padel Paper has been told that Wembley Park developers Quintain Living have revoked the operator’s lease due to non-payment of rent.
The gates of the club have been shut for several weeks and no courts are available to book on Playtomic.
Social Sports Society’s director Jesper Konstantinov has told The Padel Paper he is involved in a dispute with financing partner Mindspring Padel, who have declined to comment on the record.

Social Sports Society opened its three-court Wembley site in May 2024 and had developed successful community programmes and partnerships at the club.
As well as Wembley, Social Sports Society has sites in Sutton, Derby, Bristol, Brent Cross and Bangor (the latter opened on 3 September).
Its website shows further sites ‘coming soon’ in Finchley, Bristol, Manchester, Rugby and Canning Town, but it’s understood the Canning Town project has been discontinued.
Multiple sources have told The Padel Paper that a leading UK padel operator is preparing a formal offer for the company.
