The UK’s first floating padel destination was officially unveiled at Liverpool Waters in Princes Dock last weekend.
With the Liver Building and Liverpool’s skyline providing the backdrop, Vibora Liverpool Waters gives players the chance to step onto floating courts and play padel surrounded by the heritage of the city’s docklands.
Opened on Saturday (26 September) with two purpose-built floating padel courts and its Club House, Vibora Liverpool Waters will welcome players seven days a week from 7am until 10pm.

A third floating padel court is already planned to follow later this year to meet the growing demand, marking the next phase in Vibora Liverpool Waters’ development.
The launch sees Vibora Liverpool Waters become part of the continuing transformation of Liverpool’s historic northern docks by regeneration specialists Peel Waters.
Liverpool Waters is a major long-term regeneration project with more than £5bn being invested in the transformation of the waterfront. New homes, businesses, leisure destinations and public spaces are being created across the area.

The opening follows significant interest in Vibora Liverpool Waters since plans for the destination were first announced, with just 75 founding memberships released ahead of launch, offering priority booking and exclusive membership benefits.
Now welcoming the wider public, Vibora Liverpool Waters’ courts are priced at £55 for a 60-minute booking, with all bookings made through Playtomic.
Gareth Evans, co-founder of Vibora Liverpool Waters, explained: “Opening Vibora Liverpool Waters and finally welcoming people onto the courts is an incredibly proud moment for us. From the very beginning, we wanted to create something that was about much more than padel. We wanted to build a destination and a community that people genuinely want to be part of.
“Liverpool’s waterfront is such a special setting and we wanted Vibora Liverpool Waters to give people a completely new way to experience padel. The response has been brilliant and it’s shown us just how much appetite there is for padel in the city.
“This is only the beginning for Vibora Liverpool Waters. We have our third floating court coming later this year and lots more planned as we continue to grow the community and create something really special here in the city centre.”

James Whittaker, Managing Director of Peel Waters, added: “The launch of Vibora Liverpool Waters is a fantastic addition to our Princes Dock neighbourhood and another example of how Liverpool Waters is continuing to evolve into one of the most exciting waterfront destinations in the UK.
“As one of the country’s most ambitious regeneration projects, our vision has always been to create a vibrant neighbourhood where people can live, work and enjoy their free time. Today, Liverpool Waters is home to a growing mix of homes, businesses, events, attractions, hospitality venues and waterside experiences, with more reasons than ever for people to visit and spend time here.
“Vibora Liverpool Waters brings something completely unique to the destination, it makes the most of Liverpool’s iconic waterfront setting and adds another exciting leisure experience for residents, workers and visitors to enjoy. We look forward to seeing Vibora Liverpool Waters become a thriving part of the waterfront community.”
