Marc Yaffe from padel legal specialists JMW and Pure Padel owner Sammy Arora are hosting a celebrity-packed 12-hour charity Padelathon to raise money for Cure Leukaemia.

Marc, who is a Cure Leukaemia ambassador, will join Sammy for the fundraiser at the new Pure Padel indoor venue in Manchester from 6am – 6pm on Thursday 14 November.

Organised in partnership with Ziara Siddique and This is Manchester Awards, Marc and Sammy will be playing padel against sponsors and leading personalities from the world of sport and TV. The pair are also planning a Coronation Street v Hollyoaks match and a face-off between Manchester United and Manchester City legends.

“It’s going to be a celebration of padel for a cause very close to our heart,” Marc told The Padel Paper. “We’ve already raised over £4000 and interest from the business community in Manchester has been unbelievable.”

Marc is a self-confessed padel addict, having played his first ever padel match at Sammy’s house. Last year, he fused his passion with his career by forming a team specialising in legal guidance for the padel industry at JMW Solicitors, where he is Managing Partner.

“The fact I’ve been able to multiply my love of padel with making it work for the business and raising money for a charity close to my heart, is a great source of pride,” he commented.

Leukaemia has affected several people close to Marc and he says he “feels compelled to do whatever I can” to help raise awareness and money to fight the disease.
