Let’s Go Padel have announced plans to open 50 new courts across Northern Ireland in 2025, as well as opening the country’s first professional arena.
Let’s Go Padel opened their first three courts in December at Let’s Go Hydro, a large inflatable water park in Carryduff, Belfast, and plan to add 10 more at the reservoir site.
There are hopes that a new professional arena, also based at Let’s Go Hydro, will be able to house up to 300 fans as the sport takes its first major steps into Northern Ireland.
Pete Boyle, owner of Let’s Go Hydro and Let’s Go Padel, has identified further sites for development in Coleraine, Omagh and Londonderry – while also seeking planning permission in East Belfast and a further site in Londonderry.

“Padel is a billion-dollar industry and we’re keen to bring it to Northern Ireland at scale over the coming months,” said Boyle.
“Our current courts book out fast, as the sport has grown in popularity and we can see the potential in it.
“Let’s Go Padel follows on the back of the success of Let’s Go Hydro and we are actively looking for opportunities to breathe life into disused tennis courts around Northern Ireland and other suitable leisure facilities.”
Before Let’s Go Padel’s plans to unveil new courts across the province, there were only two indoor courts in Northern Ireland – owned by ex-Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine’s company, Eddie Irvine Sports.
The addition of 50 new courts that will be available for public use will see the accessibility of padel increase in the country, hopefully aiding the jump from novice to casual players, as well as amateur to professional.
