Norfolk is preparing to welcome its first dedicated padel club as Blazing Padels brings the world’s fastest-growing sport to East Anglia this September.
Sunday 29 September will mark the club’s official opening, with heritage sports brand Dunlop to be the official launch partner. To celebrate the opening, from 10am to 5pm visitors can book sessions, watch a demonstration game featuring members of the Great Britain padel team and have the opportunity to ‘beat the pros’.
Set on the picturesque Salle Moor Hall Farm in Reepham, just 20 minutes north of Norwich, Blazing Padels will be the region’s first indoor padel club, with expert coaching in a vibrant social environment.
Designed for those seeking both an active lifestyle and a space to relax, Blazing Padels will initially offer players the use of two indoor courts, allowing year-round play whatever the weather, plus an interior-designed café and clubhouse all on a picturesque farm estate.
Utilising cutting edge club management and booking technology from Swedish company Matchi, players can easy split payments, solving the problem of chasing friends for court fees.
Housed in a converted cow shed, Blazing Padels aims to provide an elevated experience, with curated social spaces and a community feel via social sessions, events, private coaching plus leagues for newcomers and regulars to meet and connect with other players.
Founder Alex Nagshineh said: “We’re really excited to bring the sport of padel to Norfolk. As many regular players will tell you, the beauty of padel is that it’s easy to pick up but impossible to put down.
“Given padel culture’s relaxed and social nature, we aim to create a welcoming and comfortable space for players and casual visitors to kick back with friends and family.”
