Leading American padel operator Padel Haus has announced the forthcoming opening of Nashville’s first ever padel club.

Padel Haus Nashville will open its doors as a premium eight-court indoor facility in early summer 2024. It will be the operator’s first club outside New York City, and fifth club so far, following its flagship site in Williamsburg (opened July 2022), Domino Park (opened May 2023), Dumbo (opened August 2023) and Greenpoint (announced January 2024).

Construction started earlier this month on the 39,000-square-foot Padel Haus Nashville facility at 502 W Thompson Lane in the Berry Hill district in South Nashville, neighbouring Wedgewood Houston and under 10 minutes’ drive from Downtown Nashville and Brentwood.

The launch of the club has been enabled by the operator’s successful Seed & Series A funding rounds, which have raised $11m to date. The opening in Nashville will bring the world’s fastest-growing sport to the 692,000 inhabitants of one of America’s most iconic cities.

The club will be Padel Haus’ largest to date, with eight indoor courts as well as the renowned juice bar ‘Juice Haus’, premium locker rooms, rain showers, a rock climbing wall, a kids’ playground, co-working and multiple social lounges. The club will have premium 27-foot high ceilings.

Santiago Gomez, Founder CEO of Padel Haus, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Padel Haus to one of America’s most iconic cities. Nashville has undergone a real renaissance in recent years, as evidenced by the opening of other lifestyle brands such as Soho House and 1 Hotel, amongst many others.

“Over the last 18 months, we have seen just how much New York City has taken to this incredible sport, and as a creative city that thrives on new trends, I am convinced that Nashville is the ideal place to launch our first location outside of NYC. The fact that we are first to market give us a competitive advantage and an interesting challenge ahead.

“With the opening of these courts and the Greenpoint location recently announced to open later this year, Padel Haus will operate 24 courts or 12% of the padel market in the US. However, we are not stopping there; we are accelerating our plans to open many more clubs up and down the East Coast and nationwide. This is an exciting time for padel in the U.S. and we are thrilled to be taking the best sport in the world to new American cities.”

The announcement that Padel Haus is coming to Nashville follows on from last week’s news that the operator would be opening its latest New York City club in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in October 2024.
