The event previously known as Padel Trend Expo has followed the growing cross-racket sport trend for its expanded third edition next month, which will be known as Racquet Trend Expo.
Taking place in Milan from 7-9 March, Racquet Trend Expo will host tennis, padel, pickleball, beach tennis and table tennis and will see activities take place on 21 different courts.
In its first two years, Padel Trend Expo saw 40,000 people attend the event, and organisers are hoping for an even larger turnout next month with the addition of four extra racket sports.
It will be hosted at Fiera Milano, a newly constructed 30,000 square metre pavilion that will also play host to the Winter Olympic Games in February 2026. As well as providing seating areas to watch the action, the venue will also hold a fitness centre, a hub for sports tourism and a business district.
The event will also offer an holistic experience that focuses on wellness and sustainability, reinforcing the growing emphasis on well-being within the industry.
Sports tourism will also be on the agenda at Racquet Padel Expo through the ‘Le Vie dello Sport’ initiative. The project will encourage networking opportunities between the industries’ key players in order to create new partnerships and allow spectators to pick their next sports vacation.
Fans will have the chance to listen to well-known faces and brands at the event through a series of exhibitions. Asics, Total Padel and ART Group have already signed up.

Speaking on the launch of Racquet Trend Expo, Marco Jannarelli, President of Next Group, stated: “Racquet Trend Expo is an evolution made possible by the success of the two editions of Padel Trent Expo. This achievement is the result of great organizational effort and the enthusiastic response from both the public and industry professionals. Building on this momentum, we have expanded the event to include all major racket sports, strengthening its international dimension and creating an engaging experience on multiple levels.”
General Director of Racquet Trend Expo, Luigi Spera, added: “The overall expansion of racket sports, the growing popularity of tennis – fuelled by recent Italian successes – and the rapid rise of disciplines like padel and pickleball have created the perfect conditions for structuring Racquet Trend Expo. Our goal is to establish it as an international benchmark for both the quantitative and qualitative growth of these sports.”
The event follows in the footsteps of the revolutionary RacquetX, a three-day multi-racket event held in Miami that is currently gearing up to host its second edition at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The trend for multi-racket facilities has started to sweep across the world, encouraging more people to take advantage of the opportunities on offer across different courts. The inaugural RacquetX saw this audience labelled ‘cross-court consumers’ as they flooded to new multi-racket venues and existing venues that have diversified their facilities.
A multi-racket facility recently opened in Graz, Austria, allowing people to test the waters with sports they may not have come across before. The facility offers indoor and outdoor tennis, squash, padel, pickleball, table tennis courts, as well as an indoor golf simulator.
In addition to this, 4PADEL opened its doors in the back end of 2024, a facility that hosts nine padel courts, four pickleball and four squash courts in Vaires-Torcy, a Parisian suburb, in a project that is part of a lasting legacy from the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Other such venues include Nicol New Jersey and the forthcoming Ballers Philadelphia and OnCourt in Kuala Lumpur.
