The second edition of RacquetX begins this weekend in Miami with padel once again set to plant its flag in the centre of the vibrant racket sports ecosystem.

This year, a wider programme of tournaments and glamorous, industry-heavyweight events has grown around RacquetX, labelled as ‘America’s Racquets Week’. The calendar includes the Miami Open tennis event, pickleball’s DUPR College Tour and Premier Padel Miami, the first ever elite-level padel tournament to be held in the US.

RacquetX, located in the gigantic Miami Beach Convention Center, will be the focal point of the festivities, with 5,000 guests (up from last year’s 3,000) enjoying brand activations, cross-court showdowns between padel, pickleball, tennis and squash, the inaugural Club Summit, the Women’s Day Court Takeover, Kids’ Day featuring Nike Sport Camps and much, much more.

There will be five padel, four pickleball, one tennis and one all-glass squash court in the packed arena, as well as over 125 industry-leading brands offering demos of the latest technological innovations and exclusive giveaways.

Top pros and coaches from all racket sports will be on hand to host clinics and exhibit their skills in demonstration matches and the networking opportunities will be second to none, with industry leaders, players, enthusiasts and investors aplenty.

The inaugural Club Summit will be a gathering of 200 club owners, operators, managers and investors, shaping the future of racquet clubs nationwide. The Start-Up Pitch competition will also see 10 dynamic companies (selected from 31 applicants) pitch to industry investors.

There will be a competitive cross-court showdown between the best pickleball and padel clubs, the Women’s Day Court Takeover featuring some of the leading females in the industry, a Kids’ Day with engaging activities and coaching for the next generation of racket-swishers, and even Puppy Yoga!

Many Brits are already packing their bags ready to jet to Florida. Ben Nichols’ second Property + Padel event in the US is on 20 March at Padel X and Sarah Horrocks, a familiar face on the UK padel scene, will be launching her new apparel brand PALAIR.

RacquetX Co-Founder Robyn Duda (pictured above) said: “Miami Beach is the place to be if you are a business owner, player or fan of racquet sports. RacquetX is so grateful for the strong support of Miami Beach, the industry, and our partners for making this event and America’s Racquets Week electrifying. The energy leading into the week is palpable and can’t be missed!”
