The Padel Hub in Slough hosted the inaugural leg of the 2025 EA7 World Legends Padel Tour last weekend and former Chelsea FC stars dominated the line-up.

Former Blues captain John Terry, ex-star winger and manager Gianfranco Zola, Ukrainian striker Andriy Shevchenko, Dutch dazzler Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer and other Stamford Bridge favourites, Jody Morris, Steve Sidwell and Danny Drinkwater rubbed shoulders with Spanish international Fernando Llorente, ex-Spurs and West Ham striker Bobby Zamora and Italian Luca Ceccarelli.

Shevchenko and Llorente celebrate victory

Many of the former players are now devotees of the 20×10, particular Terry and Shevchenko who are regulars on the well-heeled London padel circuit.

The winners were Shevchenko and Llorente who were triumphant against Zola and Ceccarelli in a closely-fought final. The World Legends Tour next heads to Miami.

“We are absolutely delighted to have welcomed the EA7 World Legends Padel Tour to The Padel Hub Slough,” said Charles Winterton, The Padel Hub CEO.

“Seeing so many talented players, enthusiastic fans, and an incredible level of play here was truly inspiring. The energy was fantastic, and it was an honour to be part of such a prestigious event.”
