The Iconic Padel Court, designed and built in Italy, allows players to adjust lighting, defrost glass walls, alter the glass darkness and record their best rallies via an in-built multi-angle video system!
The high-spec new court design is the brainchild of Iconic founders Leonardo Giangreco Biancheri, Pierfrancesco Iazeolla and Miguel Bonilla, who have partnered with design and lifestyle company Pininfarina.
Iconic say its deluxe new court design revolutionises its users’ playing experience by allowing them to customise their playing environment to suit their needs.
The Iconic court’s net tending poles have integrated touch displays and a voice assistant to manage every aspect of the court’s playing conditions – including making the glass brighter or darker, or defrosting it, to suit the weather conditions.
Each net post includes an automatic tensioning system for the perfect net height and a ball pressurisation module to significantly increase the ball’s lifespan.
The court is also equipped with charging stations for electronic devices and a state-of-the-art video system with four different camera angles integrated six metres up into the structure of each light.
Through the use of artificial intelligence, these cameras capture unforgettable rallies to share with friends on social media – or for in-depth analysis of performance in matches and training.
The cameras can analyse all movements in the court and return an in-depth analysis of the game. Four more wide-angle cameras (two in the short sides and one for each net post) are used for the sole purpose of fun and social sharing.
All cameras are manageable through two touch displays integrated in glass panels through which it is possible to work on training sessions and change the score of the game shown in the scoreboards which are also integrated into the structure.
The court is compliant with International Padel Federation standards and can be freestanding or fixed to the ground.
It integrates innovative finishings and materials including fiberglass coating, laminated tempered glass with concealed ground fixing, faux leather protectors, as well as integrated LEDs, displays and cameras.
